Kimberly’s place is great. It’s comfortable, clean and the location is incredible, just as described. Kimberly herself was responsive, she even let us check in two hours early. I’d definitely stay here again.

Responsive host! Very walkable location

Great location. Although no yard for a dog the neighborhood is walkable with off leash parks nearby.

Great location, clean and beds were comfortable. There was a good selection of coffee, including organic. Kimberly responded quickly. There is a smaller couch than shown and a half flight of stairs to the outside door and full flight to apartment door. Noise level was overall okay, except the two mornings that the garbage was picked up at 6 am outside small bedroom window.

Genuinely great experience! So happy we stayed here.

Such a great option for a cozy stay in Portland! The beds were so comfortable and the apartment had absolutely everything we needed (even locally roasted coffee!). One minor note - they have a few pictures of the living room online that show a sectional couch and I think they may have changed it to a smaller couch since then (current couch seats two people). Only mentioning just in case you have a larger group and are planning to watch tv/movies. Also really loved the neighborhood- great restaurants only a short walk from the front door, while still being quiet and private. Also really easy to find and to get picked up/dropped off by ride share services. Overall this apartment had all of the comforts of home while also having super nice touches for a perfect luxe foodie getaway. Would definitely recommend!!

Neighborhood highlights

Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District puts you within walking distance of a wide variety of top-notch local flavors, with no chain restaurants in sight! Make new friends over vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, get messy with wings right around the corner at Fire on the Mountain, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portland’s favorite pizza), or opt for a fancy night out at Castagna—all within a 1.5-mile stretch. Portland isn't just for foodies; the vibrant indie spirit of Hawthorne is alive with plenty of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques to explore. Catch a movie at the Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews. If bar hopping through neighborhoods isn’t your idea of recreation, head up to Mt. Tabor, a 196-acre city park atop a dormant volcano vent, where you’ll find miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city.
