We had a wonderful time at Hayden’s place. Hayden was very responsive to any needs along the way. The apartment itself is situated very close to restaurants and shopping opportunities, which was a huge plus for us. Sound machines were provided, which made sleeping by a bustling road much easier. My only recommendation would be an addition of a microwave for leftovers, otherwise it was perfect for our needs. Thanks again for hosting our visit to Portland!
Our stay was wonderful! The beautiful original craftsmanship of the home is a treat for anyone who appreciates history and design. It’s fully updated with a full equipped kitchen, a walk-in shower, and cozy bedroom heating. The location couldn’t be better! You’re steps away from amazing restaurants, unique shops, and plenty of great spots to pick up souvenirs throughout the neighborhood. We loved the variety at the Nob Hill Food Carts, and it was so convenient to have bike and scooter rentals within walking distance. We would highly recommend this place and would happily stay again!
Great stay! The place was fine, but I could see others having a hard time with parking since there’s no designated space.
We had a tough time with our stay and ended up leaving after just one night and booking a hotel. Upon entering we were immediately hit with a very unpleasant smell, maybe a stale apartment mixed with cat pee? We couldn’t put our fingers on it but it but it was through the entire place. There is only heat in the bedroom so the rest of the place was uncomfortably cold. Finally, the bedroom is right next tot he front window and the street is very busy and loud with large trucks going by all night. It was hard to sleep. We booked this trip as a relaxing getaway and this apt didn’t really allow for that. On the positives the decor was nice, bed comfortable, and the location was very walkable.
The unit was spacious and clean with modern furniture and kitchen appliances. Perfect for a couple looking to explore NW Portland where all the great restaurants and bars are a few blocks away. Hayden was a responsive and proactive host. Check in and check out could not be easier. Did not require us to clean the apartment before checkout like a lot of other Airbnb’s do, which saves time in a busy morning.
Appreciate the charm of an historic home. Very walkable neighborhood and home was exactly as described.
