Great place to stay, has everything you need. Their home was clean and comfortable. Some things to note is that the wooden floors are a bit squeaky and you can definitely hear the downstairs neighbors when they walk around. I also like their laundry system, it uses coins but they also supply us with coins to use, which was kind of them. The AC was amazing during the stay. since it was hot outside, but it does make a lot of rumbling sounds. It didn't bother me, but I hope it didn't bother the neighbors. The host is also professional and friendly, helped me with everything I needed during the stay. I recommend the place, has a cozy bed, a lot of good coffee to make, a huge TV, great food spots around, offers laundry detergent when others don't, and feels safe with the multiple coded doors.
Lauren was a wonderful guest communicative, responsive, kind, clean, and easy-going. All around, a pleasure to host. I highly recommend Lauren as a guest and would happily welcome Lauren back anytime.
Second time at this location and it was a nice stay.

Neighborhood highlights
Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District puts you within walking distance of a wide variety of top-notch local flavors, with no chain restaurants in sight! Make new friends over vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, get messy with wings right around the corner at Fire on the Mountain, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portland’s favorite pizza), or opt for a fancy night out at Castagna—all within a 1.5-mile stretch. Portland isn't just for foodies; the vibrant indie spirit of Hawthorne is alive with plenty of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques to explore. Catch a movie at the Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews. If bar hopping through neighborhoods isn’t your idea of recreation, head up to Mt. Tabor, a 196-acre city park atop a dormant volcano vent, where you’ll find miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city.
