Great spot!

January 2026

I appreciate the host for refunding my cleaning fee but I took photos of my arrival and departure. host was very understanding an communication was amazing an he did offer cleaning. but it was just pure laziness on whoever cleaned it. and not what I expected but was still managed and overall good stay. other then one room was off limits and the hot tub blew a circuit and there ice wasnt filled pr the ice trey. an the hot tub is outside the front around the back and only way to access it and it was freezing I didnt wanna get out. but was left no choice. there was black hair everywhere and im blonde. so I know it wasnt mine. and the heater stopped working so it was freezing used a heater left in closet for heating up the one bedroom. but host just needs to have a meeting with house keepers and the understanding of what is expected. but im also 30 weeks pregnant. which made it alittle extra for me but im not sure id come back

Location was great, near several bars and restaurants! My group and I didn’t experience any issues and he let us check in a bit earlier than the usual time. I’d definitely stay here again!

Wonderful and private spot in Portland near great food, parks, and venues. Comfy beds/pillows and nice TV! James was super helpful, the check in and check out were easy instructions. Thanks!

There were no photos of the hot tub and I can see why, because it is tucked to the side of the house with an automotive shop as it's back drop and you ha e to go around the front of the house to get to it (the hot tub itself was fantastic). The place could use some TLC. The front light was out and the upstairs heater didn't work and the kitchen was not very well stocked.

James is very quick to respond. We had an issue with one of the AC units and he had someone come to fix it the same day. The location is great, there are several restaurants, shops and even a brewery that are all within walking distance. The 2 bedrooms upstairs were smaller than we were expecting but it was still a nice stay and James was a good host.
