What this place offers
Top rated
One of the most loved homes on Stay Portland, based on ratings, reviews, and reliability.
Connor’s place was great. Pros: super convenient and walkable location, close to all SE Portland coolness and so many good restaurants, easy parking, quiet, comfortable bed, great linens and towels. You’re really paying for the great location and ample space for your group. Similar to the pictures, it’s a fairly bare bones rental, not a lot of homey touches but really all you need. Some repairs/replacements could be made, for instance the shower hardware is not securely attached, the TV streaming was spotty, and the living room couch is pretty uncomfortable. The pros of the location and the beds out way all of that for me. We were out and about more than home. Trip was for my family of 4, including a 6 year old kid and a grandma.
Stellar location!
Price was not worth what you got. o One AC unit, no late check outs even though no one was renting the place for weeks. Another Portland Airbnb owned but a corporations that chooses profits over people. Lots of ants in the kitchen as well.
Stay was as good as expected.
Convenient location and friendly/communicative host
I do not recommend this place at all. Major issues included an incorrect address (Morrison Court versus Morrison Street) I messaged the host at midnight when I wasn’t sure about the address. He didn’t reply until 6:30 the next morning. There was no anti-slip mat in or in front of the bathtub/shower. My elderly mother almost fell. The steps getting into the house are high with no handrail making it a fall risk. It is listed as having air conditioning, but two of the three bedrooms do not have air-conditioning. More minor complaints include: old sparse furnishings, some light switches not working, many windows not having screens, dishes still in the dishwasher and towels in the dryer upon check in, basic coffee supplies without any nice welcome snacks, and no additional blankets.

Neighborhood highlights
Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District places you within walking distance of a wide variety of top-notch local flavors (no chain restaurants here!). Make new friends over vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portland’s favorite pizza), or opt for a fancy night out at Castagna—all within a 1.5-mile stretch. But Portland isn't just for foodies. Hawthorne boasts a vibrant indie spirit, with plenty of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques to explore in this hipster haven. Catch a movie at Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews. If bar hopping through neighborhoods isn’t your idea of recreation, head up to Mt. Tabor, a 196-acre city park on top of a dormant volcano vent, where you’ll find miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city.
